Minneapolis, MN (April 26, 2016) – Yukon Partners (“Yukon”), is pleased to announce the addition of Michael Furey, Partner, to its investment team.

At Yukon, Mr. Furey will work closely with founding partners Michael Hall and William Dietz, as well as the firm’s investment professionals, in sourcing and evaluating new investment opportunities and providing operational expertise and counsel to sponsor partners. Mr. Furey will be located in Boston, MA.

About Michael Furey

Prior to joining Yukon, Mr. Furey was a partner at Halyard Capital, a private equity firm that focuses on control and junior capital investments in business services, media, and communications companies. At Halyard, he sourced and executed new investments, led the firm’s Healthcare IT initiative, and served on the boards of multiple portfolio companies.

Prior to Halyard, Mr. Furey was an investment manager with Capital Resource Partners, a private investment firm that focuses on subordinated debt and equity investments to support acquisitions, recapitalizations, growth and management buyouts.

Mr. Furey received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Brown University and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Harvard Business School.
