Yukon Partners Promotes Peters to Chief Operating Officer

MINNEAPOLIS (May 22, 2019) – Yukon Partners (Yukon), a Minneapolis based middle market private equity firm, promotes Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Corey Peters to Chief Operating Officer (COO). Mr. Peters will remain as CFO as he concurrently assumes the new role of COO.

“As CFO, Corey has been a vital part of Yukon and is responsible for developing and implementing the back-office platforms and investor relations function of the firm,” said Michael Hall, Managing Partner.  “With his promotion to COO, Corey will extend his current responsibilities further into the organization, as he drives strategic prioritization, accountability, and operational excellence.  His demonstrated leadership abilities and relationship skills will be tremendous assets in this new role and we are excited for his continued success.”

Mr. Peters brings over twenty-five years of experience leading, building, and optimizing finance and operational functions of companies.  Prior to joining Yukon as CFO in June of 2012, Mr. Peters served in finance and operational leadership roles at Optum, UnitedHealthcare, and RBC Wealth Management. His leadership in the financial industry has also been recognized with an Executive Banking degree through Pacific Coast Banking School, in partnership with the Foster Graduate School of Business at the University of Washington, class of 2013.  Mr. Peters holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of South Dakota, and began his career as a CPA at the public accounting firm, Arthur Andersen.
